Claire is a competent, thorough and purposeful advocate having honed her craft for a number of years working under another member of Sentinel Chambers. She has been practising as a Barrister sole since 2020. Clients appreciate her clear and cogent advice together with her empathic approach.
She regularly appears in the District Courts across the Auckland region, defending clients at Judge-alone and jury trial, pre-trial and on appeal. She has appeared in the High Court and Court of Appeal as junior and lead counsel, including high profile cases involving complex regulatory offences and serious crime.
